Nikki, the mind behind Global Gente, was referred to Nevis Technology by another client, Three Little Birds Inc.
This project consisted of site design, taking design inspiration from sites that Nikki researched. There is a blog, events with many custom fields, and an ability to search these events based on date, city location, and some other filters. There are three ways for events to be entered – a mapped CSV import, manual entry within the admin area, or a submission form on the front-end for event managers to submit their events onto Global Gente. The user-submitted events go through an approval process before being listed on the site.
This is the completion of phase 1 and we’re very excited to work with Nikki on phase 2 and beyond!
