This Privacy Policy explains how Nevis Technology LLC (“Nevis Technology,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our application and related services (the “App”). This includes information you provide directly and information you authorize us to access from third-party services such as Intuit QuickBooks Online.
1) Information we collect
A) Information you provide
Depending on how the App is implemented for your organization, Nevis Technology may collect:
- Contact information (name, email, phone);
- Business information (company name, address);
- Support requests and communications.
B) Information from connected accounts (e.g., QuickBooks Online)
If you connect a QuickBooks account, Nevis Technology may access data you authorize, which can include:
- Company/account profile information;
- Customers/vendors;
- Invoices/estimates/payments;
- Products/services;
- Transactions, accounts, and reports;
- Other accounting-related data depending on the permissions (“scopes”) you approve.
Nevis Technology requests and uses only the data reasonably necessary to provide the App’s features.
C) Technical and usage data
Nevis Technology may collect:
- IP address, device/browser details;
- Log data (timestamps, actions, errors);
- Cookies or similar technologies used for authentication and basic app operation (where applicable).
2) How we use information
Nevis Technology uses information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the App;
- Connect to authorized third-party services (such as QuickBooks Online) at your request;
- Authenticate users and secure the App;
- Provide support, troubleshoot, and respond to requests;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3) How we share information
Nevis Technology does not sell your Customer Data. Nevis Technology may share information:
- With service providers who help operate the App (e.g., hosting, monitoring, email), under confidentiality obligations;
- To comply with law, regulation, subpoena, or lawful request;
- To protect rights and safety of Nevis Technology, customers, users, or the public;
- With your direction or consent (for example, when you connect third-party services).
4) Security
Nevis Technology uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. This can include access controls, least-privilege permissions, encryption in transit (TLS), and encryption at rest where appropriate. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
5) OAuth tokens and connected account credentials
If the App connects to QuickBooks Online using OAuth, Nevis Technology stores and uses access tokens and refresh tokens only to maintain the authorized connection and provide the App’s features. Tokens are protected using reasonable security measures and are not shared except as required to operate the integration.
6) Data retention and deletion
Nevis Technology retains information for as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate business purposes (such as security, auditing, and compliance), unless a longer retention period is required by law. You may request deletion of your data subject to legal and contractual requirements. If you disconnect a third-party account (such as QuickBooks), the App will no longer be able to access new data from that account.
7) Your choices
- You can disconnect your QuickBooks connection through Intuit settings or within the App (if supported).
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of certain information by contacting Nevis Technology.
8) Children’s privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction), and Nevis Technology does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9) Changes to this policy
Nevis Technology may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Nevis Technology will post the updated policy with a new “Last Updated” date.
